5/29/2014 - Stolen Shingles
On 05-08-2014 Sioux Falls Police took a theft report in the 7800 block of W Lobelia St.. Taken in the theft were one hundred bundles of new shingles from a house under construction. The value of the shingles was listed at $4500.00. SFPD CC#14-29443.

5/22/2014 - ARSON
On 05-19-2014 Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue as well as the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a suspicious fire at 111 N Cleveland Ave. Based on the investigation it is believed that an unknown subject(s) intentionally started a fire in the first floor hallway causing extensive damage to the building. SFPD CC# 14-32468.

5/15/2014 - Commercial Burglaries
On 05-14-2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to two reports of break-ins at liquor stores. The first, at 945 S Marion Rd, occurred at 2:15 AM. The front door was broken, entry made, and several bottles of alcohol taken. A short time later another report was received in the 5500 block of w 41st St. The door was broken but entry was not gained to the business. Video shows two males using a metal object to break the glass. The males appear to be in their early twenties, 5”9”-5’11”, average weight. They may also be driving an older red Jeep Cherokee. SFPD 14-30973 and 14-30962. .

5/8/2014 - BB Gun Vandalism
On 05-02-2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to the 1900 block of E 52nd St in reference to a white crew cab Ford F-150 with three teens shooting out car windows. 28 different cars in the southeast part of town had car windows shot out with a BB gun. SFPD CC#14-28051 .

5/1/2014 - Armed Robbery
On 04/27/2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to the 5400 block of W. 41st St in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect, described as a male, 5’6”, 130 lbs., entered the business and displayed a handgun. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. The suspect was wearing a black parka style coat. No one was injured in the incident. SFPD CC# 2014-19035.

4/24/2014 - Commercial Burglary

On 03-28-2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to 704 W. 41st St in reference to a burglary. During the early morning hours an unknown subject pried open the front door and took several items from inside the business. The suspect is believed to be a white male about six feet tall. SFPD CC# 2014-19035.

4/17/2014 - Residential Burglary
On 04-08-2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to the 1100 block of N Springfield Pl for a burglary report. According to the owner an unknown subject(s) had entered the residence, which is under construction, and removed a Maytag clothes dryer. On 04-14-2014 the owner called again to report that now they had taken the Maytag washing machine. The pair was valued at $4000.00. SFPD CC# 14-21645 and 23218.

4/10/2014 - Stolen Vehicle
On 04/05/2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to 4800 W. St. James Dr. in reference to a stolen vehicle. Taken was a 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra valued at $19,000.00. On 04/07/2014 a Turner County Deputy located the stolen Cobra on a rural county road. The vehicle had been cut in half and the front half abandoned on the roadway. Other parts were located in the area but the rear half of the vehicle is still missing. SFPD CC# 14-20924

4/3/2014 - Storage Unit Burglary
On 03-27-2014 Sioux Falls Police took a burglary report at 1810 E 39th St N. Taken from the storage unit were twenty four Fillco central air conditioning units valued at $10,000.00. SFPD CC# 14-18903.

3/27/2014 - Stolen ATM`s
On 03/18/2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to a burglar alarm at 1912 W 41st St. Officers discovered that an ATM machine had been taken from the business. On 03/22/2014 Sioux Falls Police responded to a burglar alarm at 901 W 41st St. Officers again discovered that the ATM had been stolen. On 03/26/2014 both stolen ATM’s were located inside of a trailer parked in the 4700 block of N Northview Ave. No value of loss was listed. SFPD CC# 14-16373 and 17764.
